Petition: Justice for Lewis Blayse

Lewis Blayse was never adequately compensated for the abuses he suffered in Alkira and for a lifetime of suffering and poverty. His family never received compensation for the career sacrifices they made to care for Lewis. No payment was made to them for their pain and suffering either. The fight for proper compensation from the Salvation Army goes on, but the Blayse Family needs your help – The Salvation Army is ignoring them.

To learn more about why I’m setting this petition up, please read this leaflet (Leaflet_Lewis Blayse Public Memorial Event_1 March 2014) and also scan through the links provided below. If you want to learn even more about why I’ve set up this petition, use the ‘Contact’ page to get in touch. If you feel strongly about the Salvation Army’s treatment of Lewis and his family, please sign the petition (see link below), which will be seen by the current world head of the Salvation Army, General André Cox, to Australian Eastern Territorial Head, Commissioner James Condon, and to Major Peter Farthing, Royal Commission Response Coordinator. If enough people speak out, maybe the Salvation Army will finally start to listen.

Aletha Blayse
